Safe Pass

The Solas Safe Pass Health and Safety Awareness Training Programme is to ensure that all workers in construction obtain a basic knowledge of health and safety and can work on-site without being a risk to themselves or others. Construction workers are bound by law to hold a valid Safe Pass card.

The Safe Pass training programme takes one day from 8am to 5pm. There must be a minimum of 8 candidates and a maximum of 20 candidates on each course. Candidates must be over 16 years of age and possess an Irish PPSN number.

On successful completion of the Safe Pass training programme, candidates will receive a SAFE PASS identity card which will allow them to legally enter a building site and apply for further CSCS training.
